Dutch Uncles are an English indie-rock outfit from Marple. Formed back in 2008, the band consists of guitarists Pete Broadhead and Daniel Spedding, drummer Andy Proudfoot, bassost Robin Richards, and singer and pianist Duncan Wallis, and they're known for their crazy rhythms and unusual time signatures - earning them the label of math-pop.
The band formed when they were still in college together, and put out their eponymous debut album just a year later via German label Tapete Records. Now signed to Memphis Industries, they've released 2011's 'Cadenza', 'Out of Touch, In the Wild', which came out in 2013 and 'O Shudder'.
The band have been working on album five for some time and will return to UK venues in 2017 for a headline tour. Check below for tickets.

Few bands manage to last long enough to make five albums. Fewer still manage to make five albums in less than 10 years. Never ones to follow the crowd, that’s exactly what Dutch Uncles have achieved with the release of ‘Big Balloon.’ It’s ain’t half bad, either.
