Empire of the Sun are a synth-pop band from Sydney, Australia.

Formed in 2007, the duo released their debut album ‘Walking On A Dream’ the following year, which went 3x Platinum in their native Australia and was certified Gold in the UK. They went on to place fourth in the BBC's Sound Of 2009 poll, dropping their second record 'Ice On The Dunes' in 2013, followed by 'Two Vines' in 2016.
