Edward James Hamell - best known by his stage name Hamell on Trial - is an American punk rock and anti-folk singer hailing from Syracuse, New York. Emerging in the late ‘80s, he was originally signed to the likes of Such a Punch Righteous Babe record label, but penned a deal with New West Records in 2014.
Originally starting out playing in local bands, he soon realised he wanted to embark on a solo career, and as a talented singer-songwriter and musician, he had no problem. Now known for his many albums, live performances, and daily delivery of new tracks via YouTube, he would unleash his next LP 'The Happiest Man in the World' in 2014.
