John Paul White is an American folk and country singer-songwriter from Loretto, Tennessee.
Starting his music career in 2008, he released his debut solo album,’The Long Goodbye’ in 2008. He then formed The Civil Wars with Joy Williams and released the album, ‘Barton Hollow’, which led to them winning two Grammy Awards. The duo released a self-titled second album in 2013. He released his second solo album,‘Beulah’, in August 2016.
