John Prine and Sturgill Simpson are American country folk singer-songwriters.

Starting his music career in 1971, John Prine has released 18 studio albums, as well as several live albums and compilations.

Sturgill Simpson started his music career in 2004, when he formed Sunday Valley, releasing one album, before the band disbanded in 2012. Starting his solo career, he put out his first album, ‘High Top Mountain’, in 2013. He returned the following year with his next LP, ‘Metamodern Sounds in Country Music’, and would follow it up with his latest album,’A Sailor's Guide to Earth’ in April 2016.
