Cottiers is named after Daniel Cottier a revolutionary artist-designer who decorated the building when it was built in 1865.Four Acres Charitable Trust owns the building and has been gradually restoring it since the early 1990s.Cottiers Theatre is a unique theatrical venue capable of housing all sorts of events from traditional stage plays to live music, stand up comedy, corporate events, parties and weddings. Events take place against the backdrop of the stained glass and ornate timberwork and enjoy a large, impressive acoustic.
