Kill Hannah are a rock band from Chicago, USA consisting of Mat Devine (vocals/guitar), Dan Wiese, Greg Corner, Elias Mallin and Michael Maddox.
Formed in 1993, by songwriter Devine, the band were previously named In A Jar UK, before the singer had a nasty break-up with his girlfriend and renamed the band in her honour. They have released six albums, and seven EPs, including several self-released records, which many of the songs from featured on the band’s first release with Atlantic Records, ‘For Never & Ever’ in 2003. The first album to be released with Atlantic with new material was 2006’s ‘Until There’s Nothing Left For Us’. The last album the band released was 2009’s, ‘Wake Up Sleepers’. The band have performed with the likes of Papa Roach, Thousand Foot Krutch, AFI, Dashboard Confessional, Jane’s Addiction, Everclear, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Smash Pumpkin and All-American Rejects. The band announced in 2015 that they would be breaking up and have announced a select number of final shows in the USA and UK.
