Lisa Mercedez is a Jamaican-born London-based dancehall artist. Quickly recognised for her lyrical talent, she joined the Warning Crew in 2005. Pursuing her own dancehall music career Lisa joined the stage with Beenie man and Timberlee, then continued her underground dancehall music to commercialise her sound and take it to radio.
She has performed at the likes of Meltdown Festival, V Festival, Bestival, Glastonbury and Notting Hill Carnival. From earlier collaborations with The Timetakers and DJ SKT, she's risen the ranks to newer projects with Charley Black, Stylo G, Steff London, Ms Banks and Preditah. Mercedez will headline The Curtain in Shoreditch on July 18 following an appearance at Wireless festival in Finsbury Park earlier in the month. These shows are part of her European 'Boss Girl Circle' tour, supporting her mixtape of the same name.
