Lisa Stansfield is an English singer-songwriter who’s been musically active since 1981, winning a talent programme the following year. She then went on to release a few unsuccessful single, and tried her hand at presenting kids pop show Razzamatazz and singing radio jingles for stations. After finally signing a deal with Arista, she quickly grew in popularity, and became an international hit throughout the 90s.
Releasing one album with a band called Blue Zone, she would go on to put out her debut solo record in 1989, and hit #2 in the UK Albums chart, finding #1 with her single ‘All Around the World’. 2014 saw album number seven - aptly titled 'Seven' - hitting shelves, and an ensuing UK tour.
Stansfield made her return with a brand new record, 'Deeper', in April 2018, which she promoted with a UK and European tour. She also has autumn 2019 tour dates planned celebrating the 30th anniversary of her debut album. Catch her live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
