Morten Harket is a Norwegian synthpop and new wave singer-songwriter hailing from Kongsberg. Harket is best known as the frontman of synth-rock and pop band A-ha!, with whom he enjoyed massive success, releasing over half a dozen albums and a load of popular singles too hits, including smash-hit Take on Me. However, he also boasts a successful solo career too.
His first solo record, 'Poetenes Evangelium', hit shelves in 1993, but it was his later albums which saw him finding further success. He would later perform across Europe and the UK regularly with both his band and in his own right, though A-ha disbanded in 2010.
