Having cut his teeth on the stand up circuit in the late '90s, Noel Fielding rose to prominence alongside Julian Barratt as creator of The Mighty Boosh. Fielding played Vince Noir on the show, which developed from live skits on the comedy festival circuit to national radio before landing on television.

Following that, the colourful show was rolled out as an arena spectacle in 2006, while Fielding continued to maintain a solo presence, both as an actor, panel show host and stand up. His 2002 set, Voodoo Hedgehog, was nominated for a Perrier Award, while in 2012 he premiered a new TV sketch show, Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy.

In 2014, Fielding made a return to UK theatres for a major tour, dubbed 'An Evening With...', with support from Boosh regulars Mike Fielding, his brother, and Tom Meeten. It ran from October to December, and was followed-up by more dates in January and February 2015.
