Phil Campbell's Bastard Sons are a rock band made up of the surviving members of Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons.
Original frontman Phil Campbell was a legendary rock musician from Pontypridd, Wales, best known as Motorhead’s longest-serving guitarist who remained part of the band until their split. He went on to tour with his own band, The Bastard Sons, which currently features his three sons and vocalist Joel Peters of Bootyard Bandits. They released their debut album 'The Age of Absurdity' in 2018, followed by 'We're The Bastards' in 2020 and, most recently, 'Kings Of The Asylum' in 2023 and, as well as headlining their own shows, bagged support slots for the likes of Guns N' Roses, Black Star Riders, Saxon and Airbourne. In March 2026, it was announced that Campbell had tragically passed away "following a long and courageous battle in intensive care after a complex major operation."
