Phronesis are an English experimental jazz band hailing from London, consisting of founding member and bassist Jasper Høiby, alongside his pianist Ivo Neame and drummer Anton Eger.
Formed in 2005, their unique style has earned them a lot of recognition in both press and the public alike. They were even described as, ‘the most exciting and imaginative piano trio since E.S.T’. They have released five LPs, the latest being 2014’s, ‘Life to Everything’, in 2014, and have played New York's Jazz Standard, Montreal Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival and Brecon Jazz Festival.
