Michael Ball is an English singer, actor, and performer hailing from Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. Born in 1962, he is a household name in the UK, renowned for both his multitude of musical theatre roles and pop/adult contemporary discography.
Becoming interested in the arts at a young age, Ball would first emerge in the mid 1980s, getting his first break on stage as one of the main roles in The Pirates of Penzance, and despite problems with nerves and anxiety, he would overcome them to make a massive name for himself.
Now, having moved into music and television too, Ball is selling-out venues weeks before his shows take place every time he announces a tour, and establish himself as one of Britain's most famous musical performers having starred in countless Broadway and West End shows.
Backed up by a loyal and dedicated fan base, he has a very special place in the hearts of his fans who have supported him for over 20 years - and still continues to record and release music today, be it as a solo artist or as part of a musical cast.
