Riscas are a four piece indie pop band based in Birmingham, made up of George Maycock, Dan Parrot, Ephraim Watts and Tom Barker.
Their debut material came in the form of just a demo, Panic Like Tom, in 2016, yet their first proper single was Talk Your Mind in 2017 - the launch party for which at Birmingham's Sunflower Lounge sold out. They've so far had opportunities supporting the likes of Childhood, Airways, High Tyde, Misfires, The Night Cafe, Clay and The Pale White. They've been backed by BBC Radio 1 since the beginning, having been playlisted before their first single was even out! Riscas have also had coverage from BBC Radio 6 Music, Fred Perry, Spotify, Sofar Sounds, Amazing Radio and Dork. In November 2017, they hit a million streams on Spotify!
