Seth Lakeman is a folk singer-songwriter from Dartmoor, Devon.
He started his musical career in 1994 as a member of the Lakeman Brothers, alongside his siblings Sean and Sam. They released their debut LP, ‘Three Piece Suite’, before forming the band Equation with Kathryn Roberts and Kate Rusby. They signed to Time Warner in 1995 and put out three albums, before Seth Lakeman left in 2001 to launch a solo career. He dropped his debut LP, ‘The Punch Bowl’, in 2002, and has since released a further 11 studio albums, the latest being 2021's 'Make Your Mark'. Seth Lakeman will hit the road in October 2024, commemorating the 20th anniversary of his Mercury Prize-nominated album 'Kitty Jay' with a tour of the UK and Ireland.
