Shawn Mendes is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician from Toronto, Ontario. Starting his music career in 2013, after posting videos on Vine and signing to Island Records, he released his debut single, Life of the Party, which reached the Canadian Top 10, and made him the youngest artist to hit the Top 25 with a debut song on the Billboard Hot 100 ever at age just 15.

With his eponymous EP hitting Top 5 in both the USA and Canada in 2014, Mendes then put out his debut album, 'Handwritten', in April 2015, which hit the top spot in the Billboard Hot 200. His released his second album, ‘Illuminate’, in September 2016 via Island Records.

He's played headline shows and tours around the UK, Europe, USA and Australia, as well as a Singapore and elsewhere.

Shawn Mendes has lined up shows in the UK and Ireland as part of a massive global arena tour in 2019.
