Soccer Aid is a charity that hosts a televised celebrity football match annually.
First taking place in 2006, the event was founded by Robbie Williams and Jonathan Wilkes and has raised tens of millions of pounds for UNICEF over the years. Consisting of two teams made up of mixed-gender celebrities and former professional players—England and the Soccer Aid World XI—past participants have included Olly Murs, Niall Horan, Woody Harrelson, Michael Sheen, Damian Lewis, David Gray, Jamie Redknapp, Gordon Ramsay, Wayne Rooney, Jack Whitehall, Gerard Butler, Chelsee Grimes, Craig David, Alan Shearer, Paddy McGuinness, Roy Keane Will Ferrell, James McAvoy, Louis Tomlinson, Jermain Defoe, Usain Bolt, Dermot Kennedy, Liam Payne, Yungblud, Jill Scott and Stormzy.
