Spunge are an English ska punk outfit hailing from Tewkesbury. Formed in 1994, and currently consisting of singer Alex Copeland, guitarist Damon Robins, bassist Chris Murphy, and drummer Jeremy King, they’re one of the genre’s most popular outfits - and even boast the title of the only band ever allowed to alter the lyrics of a Bob Marley track, when they covered ‘No Woman No Cry’.
Boasting four studio albums, the band are best known for their high energy live shows, which has earned them critical acclaim across the globe. Their debut 'The Story So Far' dropped in 2002, and was follwoed by 2006's 'Room For Abuse '06', and a self titled effort in 2008. A Greatest Hits came in 2013 and their latest release was 2014's 'Hang On?'.
Cutting their teeth touring alongside the likes of Green Day, Bowling for Soup, and the Dropkick Murphys, they’ve really learnt how to control and entertain a crowd of any size, and in 2014 they toured in celebration of their 20th anniversary.
[Spunge] hit the road again in November/December 2018 for a short run of shows throughout the UK. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
