Stone Sour are an American heavy rock band from Des Moines, Iowa, featuring Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, alongside Christian Martucci and Josh Rand on guitar, Johny Chow on bass, and drummer Roy Mayorga.

Formed in 1992, the band spent five years recording demos and tapes before disbanding in 1997. In 2002, the band released their eponymous debut album, which peaked at #46 in the Billboard 200.

After a tour, they entered hiatus once again, returning for the second time in 2006, with their second album, 'Come What(ever) May'. They returned once again with 'Audio Secrecy' in 2010, before putting out a two-part LP, 'House of Gold & Bones - Part 1 &2', in 2012 and 2013. After parting ways with Slipknot guitarist Jim Root, Stone Sour released their latest album, 'Hydrograd', in June 30.

Stone Sour supported 'Hydrograd' with shows across the USA this year, then Australia in August, before they reached the UK & Europe for a tour in late 2017 - and ahead of another batch of US dates! They've now confirmed a run of US and Canada shows for 2018, too, some of which they co-headline with Halestorm.
