Tarkan is a singer and song writer from Turkey. Since the early 1990s, he has been a prominent figure on the Turkish pop music scene, with successful album sales both in his home country and across Europe.
Tarkan has released ten albums to date, with his debut 'Yine Sensiz' coming in 1992, two more in the 1990s, five throughout the 2000s, and then bringing 'Ahde Vefa' to the table in 2016, and his latest '10' in 2017. For his efforts, Tarkan has won various awards, including the 1999 World Music Award for Best Selling Middle Eastern Artist, the Best Selling Pop Single for Simarik at Record Fair Midem, and the Pud Award for Song Of The Year in 2004 fir his single Dudu.
