The Hot Sardines are a jazz band from New York City, formed in 2007 by artistic director singer and writer Elizabeth Bougerol and artistic director, actor and piano player Evan Palazzo. The duo met after both attending a jazz jam advert on Craigslist, and hit it off immediately.
The band has had over 32 different members past and present in various formations, and have gigged all over the city, raking in bigger and bigger crowds before a 17 show run of sold out shows at Joe's Pub: higher profile gigs started rolling in.
The Hot Sardines released their debut album, 'Shanghai'd', in July 2011, along with various live recordings and a Christmas album over the years. But, their first major label album, a self titled release, came on the Decca/Universal Music Classics label in October 2014, followed by 'French Fries and Champagne' in 2016 through Decca.
Now the Hot Sardines have a headline show at London's Roundhouse in January as part of the In The Round series. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
