The Mars Volta are a prog-rock band from El Paso, Texas.
Formed from the ashes of At The Drive-In, the band have released six albums to date, with the most recent being 'Noctourniquet' in 2012. They split shortly after the release of the record, eventually reforming in 2022 and putting out their self-titled seventh album later that year. In 2023, they released 'Que Dios Te Maldiga Mi Corazón' comprising acoustic re-recordings of tracks from the band's previous self-titled album from 2022. The Mars Volta have confirmed a string of US shows for June 2024, including an appearance at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee.
