King Crimson are an English progressive rock band hailing from London. Formed in 1968, the band currently consists of Robert Fripp, Mel Collins, Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, Gavin Harrison, Jakko Jakszyk, and Bill Rieflin.
Known for their diverse and eclectic brand of rock, which incorporates all kinds of different styles and sounds, from folk and jazz to electronic dance and even classical, King Crimson have managed to command a loyal and wide fanbase for five decades, despite its often-changing line-up.
Truly one of rock music's all-time greats, King Crimson are an album-style band, having put as many LPs as they have singles over the years.
