Magnum are a British progressive rock band from from Birmingham, currently consisting of original members Bob Catley on vocals and Tony Clarkin on guitar, alongside Rick Benton on keyboards, Al Barrow on bass, and Harry James on drums.

Formed in 1972, the released their debut album, 'Kingdom of Madness', in 1978. The band have been a lively figure in the British rock circuit for four decades, despite a brief split from 1995-2001 and many lineup changes. They have released 17 albums over the years, with Magnum even reaching #5 in the UK with 'Wings of Heaven'. Their latest release ‘Sacred Blood "Divine" Lies’, came out in February 2016. The band are expected to release their latest album, ‘Lost on the Road to Eternity’, in 2018.
