Formed in 1989, the band released their debut album, ‘Earth vs the Wildhearts’, which was followed by ‘P.H.U.Q.’, which hit #6 in the UK Albums Chart. Over the years, the band released more album before splitting in 1997. Returning in 2001, they released 'The Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed' in 2003, and several more albums throughout the 2000s and 2010s. As well as a headline tour of the UK in autumn and co-headlining with Backyard Babies in early 2020, the Wildhearts have announced a December 30th anniversary show in Nottingham playing requests.
