These New Puritans are a post-rock, art rock, post punk and neo-classical badn from Southend On Sea, in the UK, consisting mainly of Jack Barnett (songwriter, producer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist) and his twin brother George Barnett (drums, metallophone, loops).
Thomas Hein was an active member as sampler, keyboards, percussionist and bassist between 2006 and 2016 and Sophie Sleigh-Johnson was an active member of TNP between 2006 and 2010 on keyboards and samples. The band have put out three studio albums since their formation in 2006 - their debut 'Beat Pyramid' in 2008, 'Hidden' in 2010 and 2013's 'Fields of Reeds'. In 2014 they released a live album, and have since been working on a fourth album - 'Inside The Rose', due to arrive in March 2019. These New Puritans hit up the UK and Europe this spring.
