Tiwa Savage is a singer-songwriter from Lagos, Nigeria.
She first gained her taste of the industry by auditioning for The X Factor in the UK at just 14-years-old, having lived there with her family for several years before moving back to Nigeria. She made it to the final 24 of the competition before being sent home, but went on to forge her own career, providing backing vocals to the likes of George Michael, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, Kelly Clarkson and Andrea Bocelli, as well as penning tracks for Babyface, Monica, Fantasia and Mŭa. Eventually, she began releasing her own music, with a discography now boasting three studio albums and two EPs, and collaborations with a number of high-profile artists, including Wizkid. Her most recent full-length serving, 'Celia', arrived in 2020. Tiwa Savage will play London's OVO Arena in November 2023, following a North American tour in the summer.
