Forming in 1985, they released their debut album, ‘Rock the House’, in 1987, which was followed by ‘He's the DJ, I'm the Rapper’, the next year, and featured the single, Parents Just Don't Understand. ‘And in This Corner…’, was released in 1989, before the duo starred in ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’. They released their fourth album, ‘Homebase’, in 1991, which featured the single Summertime, while their last album, ‘Code Red’, came out in 1993. The single Boom! Shake the Room was a #1 hit the UK and Australia. Since then Will Smith had a solo music career, with the duo collaborating on his 1999 release ‘Willennium’, as well as an acting career, appearing in movies such as ‘Independence Day’, ‘Men In Black’, ‘Ali’ and ‘The Pursuit of Happyness’. DJ Jazzy Jeff also had a solo career, as well as becoming a producer. The duo reunited for a performance at Live 8, as well as appearing on ‘The Graham Norton Show’, in 2013.
