Barenaked Ladies are a Canadian alternative rock band from Scarborough, Ontario. The band currently consists of Ed Robertson, who formed the band with ex-member Steven Page, and who sings and plays guitar, alongside bassist Jim Creeggan, keyboard-player Kevin Hearn, and drummer Tyler Stewart.

Formed back in 1988, their debut album, 'Gordon', came out in 1992 and proved an instant hit in Canada, hitting #3 in the charts. They've since released nine more records, which have managed to break into the Billboard 200 Top 10 on multiple occasions, as well as the UK Top 40. Among a host of hit singles, they're also well known for being the band behind the theme tune of hit sitcom Big Bang Theory. They returned with brand new LP, 'Silverball', in June 2015, supported by a US tour alongside Violent Femmes and Colin Hay in the summer, and a UK venture in the autumn.
