Big Big Train are a progressive rock band from Bournemouth, England. Formed in 1990, the lined up currently consists of Robin Armstrong, Nick D'Virgilio, Dave Gregory, Rachel Hall, David Longdon, Danny Manners, Rikard Sjöblom and Gregory Spawton. Until 2009, the band were mostly as a studio project band headed by Gregory Spawton and Andy Poole, who left in January 2018, with changing line-ups and guest musicians.

Opening in 1834, the Birmingham Town Hall is a live music concert hall with a capacity topping 1,000. Remaining one of the city's main venues despite running for 170 years, it is used for all kinds of performance to this day.
