Big Business started as a two piece bombastic, frantic band composed of Jared Warren of Karp and The Tight Bros From Way Back When, and Coady Willis of Murder City Devils.
The band released their first album, 'Head for the Shallow', on January 25, 2005. In late 2006, after relocating to Los Angeles, Jared and Coady both became members of The Melvins, first appearing on '(A) Senile Animal'. The tour, titled 'The Double-Drumming Rock for Peace tour', featured Warren and Willis playing a set as Big Business before being joined by Crover and Osborne for a set as the Melvins. After their 2007 release 'Here Come the Waterworks' received much critical acclaim, Big Business was given an opening spot on the summer leg of the Tool tour, aftre which they started recording material for the new Melvins album, entitled 'Nude With Boots', released on July 8, 2008. The following year, Toshi Kasai was confirmed as the third member of Big Business, and the trio released third album 'Mind the Drift' on May 12, 2009. In October 2010 after a quiet year without any shows, they posted on their myspace that they had added another guitarist Scott Martin, officially making them a "Power Quartet". They then released 'Battlefields Forever' in 2014, and 'Command Your Weather' in 2016. Their fifth album, and first new music in nearly three years, 'The Beast You Are' is due in April 2019. On-sale dates are listed on our event pages for each show. For some shows we may have ticket pre-sales available before the general sale. You can also sign up for Big Business tour notifications and ticket reminders to get alerted when additional shows are added or when tickets go on sale. Please check our event page for further information. If a specific Big Business event is 'Sold Out', that means no official primary tickets are currently available from the organiser at face value. However, you may still be able to find tickets through our official fan-to-fan resale and secondary reseller marketplace partners listed on our event pages. Age restrictions are set by the venue and vary for each event. Most arena and stadium shows allow children over 5 years old to attend, as long as they are accompanied by an adult but variations to this policy do occur. Some standing only venues (such as O2 Academies and Concert Halls) will allow over 14's to attend with an adult. We recommend arriving at least 60 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow for entry, security checks, and finding your seat. Door times are listed on the ticket.
