Boris are a Japanese experimental rock band from Tokyo, consisting of Atsuo, Wata and Takeshi. Formed in 1992, the band released their debut album, ‘Absolutego’, in 1996 and have released over twenty albums, including 2005’s ‘Pink’, ‘New Album’ in 2011 and ‘Asia’, in 2015.
The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the Japan, USA and UK and have supported the likes of Nine Inch Nails, as well as having performed at ATP New York 2010. Boris released ‘Dear’, in July 2017 and have since played across the UK, Ireland North America and Europe with Amenra. Boris will play London’s Oval Space venue in December 2019 as part of Mono’s 20th anniversary celebration.
