Catherine Tate is a British comedian and actress from London.

Starting her comedy career in 1998, performing stand-up and writing and appearing in the Channel 4 sketch show, ‘Barking’ and the BBC sit com, ‘Wild West’, with Dawn French. Her big break came in 2004 with the BBC show ‘The Catherine Tate Show’, which ran for three series and contained characters such as Lauren Cooper and Nan.

This led to her winning the Best Comedy Newcomer and Best British Comedy Actress at the British Comedy Awards and the National Television Award for Most Popular Comedy Programme. She later went on to appear in the BBC’s ‘Doctor Who’ and the USA version of ‘The Office’.

Tate STILL has it!! Perfect!!!

As a long time avid fan of Catherine Tate I was desperate to see her live. Though wondered how she was going to pull this off, with all the costume changes etc.

However she and the cast nailed it. The stage set up was fantastic, a great vibe throughout the theatre. Clever use of linking idea with radio, don't want to give too much away but all my favourite characters were there especially one resurrected young lady!! The finale and 'heartfelt' appeal at the end is pure genius... and had me on my feet screaming for justice! Especially as I'm ginger..lol lol. All actors were fabulous, even when Catherine forgot a couple of lines, or ad-libed, it just made it even better as the improvisation and cast trying not to laugh made it superlative. A great team, almost an intimate night in!!! Anyway it was THAT good I've booked to go again with a crowd to Leeds and Newcastle!! Catherine Tate what a load of old.....sheer brilliance.
