Cherie Currie is an American singer-songwriter and musician hailing from Encino, California. Born in 1959, she would find fame as the lead singer of girlband The Runaways, alongside names like Joan Jett and Jackie Fox.

After the band called it a day, Currie would become a solo artist, releasing a string of albums and singles over the years, from her 1978 debut, 'Beauty's Only Skin Deep', to 2015's 'Reverie'. Catch her supporting her latest LP with a UK tour in November '15.
