Chic are such a seminal act that they’ve even been nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame seven times previously (in 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, and 2012), and are also in the runnings again for 2013, almost 40 years after they originally formed.
