Earth, Wind & Fire is an American RnB and soul band from Chicago, Illinois, currently consisting of Verdine White, Philip Bailey, and Ralph Johnson.

Formed in 1969, the group released their debut self-titled album in 1971, and are known for Top 10 singles such as Shining Star, Sing a Song, Let's Groove, September, Boogie Wonderland, and After the Love Has Gone.

They released 21 albums in their career, the latest being ‘Holiday’ in 2014. Many of their albums have reached number one in USA Billboard Hot 200, including ‘That's the Way of the World‘ (1975), ‘ Gratitude’ (1975), ‘Spirit’ (1976), ‘All 'N All’ (1977), ‘I Am’ (1979), and ‘Faces’ (1980).

The band are also recognised for their extravagant stage shows with pyrotechnics and fireworks, magical laser lights, flying pyramids and levitating guitarists, and elaborate production tricks are regular occurrences.
