Chris de Burgh, real name Christopher Davison, is an Irish pop singer-songwriter from County Wexford, Ireland.

Starting his career in 1974, he signed with A&M Records, and released his debut album, ‘Far Beyond These Castle Walls’. He has released over 20 albums across his a career, including the album ‘Into the Light’, which hit #2 in the UK Albums Chart in 1986 and featured the #1 song, Lady In Red, and ‘Flying Colours’, released in 1998, which hit the top spot in the chart.

Other albums include ‘Power of Ten’, which came out in 1992, ‘This Way Up’, which was released in 1994 and ‘Footsteps’, that hit the shelves in 2008. He released 'A Better World', in September 23, 2016.
