Claire Richards is a singer songwriter from London, best known for being in the pop group Steps from 1997, until she left in 2001.
Since the split, Richards has undertaken a variety of routes - forming a collaboration with fellow Steps member H, the duo released a handful of singles which all reached top ten status. After a significant break from music to get married and have a baby, Steps reformed in 2011 and went on a comeback tour and released a greatest hits collection followed by their fourth studio album Light Up the World in November 2012. In 2013 Richards announced she would be releasing a solo album, but nothing of note came of it except a few singles until 2018. In the interim, Richards appeared on reality tv shows Pop Star to Opera star and Celebrity Big Brother. Her debut solo album, 'My Wildest Dreams', is scheduled for release on November 2, with an accompanying UK tour.
