Dave Matthews Band

While it sounds like it might be ruled with an iron fist by a tyrannical Dave Matthews (Dave: “I say we do play in chickens suits, what’s the name of this band again?”) the band was actually named by accident and is a musical democracy. Oasis

Eyewitness Account of THAT Row That Split Oasis

By now we have surely all heard the news? The dust has settled and people can barely conjure up enough enthusiasm to care anymore, but believe me, it is still worth talking about the night Oasis split-up, purely for its hilarity alone. Really it is, when you hear this, I’m sure you’ll agree, its classic Liam.

The Cranberries

The Cranberries Announce First UK Gig in Seven Years

The Banshee is an Irish she-spirit that wails on the rooftops of the houses of those about to die. Deloris O’Riorden is the Irish she-singer for an awesome Irish rock band who hadn’t played together in nearly a decade. There is no real connection between the two, which begs the question: why mention it at all? While we’re pondering that, news just in: the Cranberries are performing again for the first time in 7 years! Click here for tickets.

Muse

Love or hate the guy, the man knows how to kick-up some controversy! Now, if you’re not familiar with Glenn Beck, it should be known that this is not a man who watches his tongue. Known for his out-spoken right-wing views on his own TV and radio shows, he is currently embroiled in a scandal over remarks he made in July, when he referred to President Obama as “a racist”.
