Fans Vote On Scottish Songs For Eminem To Sing At T in the Park Festival

It may be a karaoke classic, but 'I'm Gonna Be (500 miles)' by The Proclaimers has been voted the Scottish song that most music fans would like to see Eminem cover when he headlines the T in the Park Festival this weekend.

The Proclaimers' iconic hit topped the poll conducted by viagogo to mark Eminem headlining this year's T in the Park, his only UK festival appearance of 2010.

Indie favourites Travis stole second spot with sing-a-long anthem 'Why Does it Always Rain On Me', whilst Scottish stalwart Rod Stewart could only manage third place with his racy hit 'Do Ya Think I'm Sexy'.

Edward Parkinson, UK Country Director, viagogo said; "Eminem performing at T in the Park is a massive coup for the festival although he has some huge hip hop shoes to follow in, after Jay Z performed the Oasis hit 'Wonderwall' at Glastonbury last year."

"Given T in the Park is the only UK festival Eminem is playing at, his set is sure to be a festival classic and a ticket you wouldn't want to miss out on."
