Legendary thrash metal giants Slayer are to release a discography box set titled ‘The Vinyl Conflict’ later this year in October.
The limited edition box set will be a collection of Slayer’s American Recordings albums; all released over 11 top quality vinyl records, all re-mastered from the original analogue flat master tapes.
This will be the first time in the bands near 30-year history that all ten albums have been released as special reissue box set. Commenting on the release of the box set, Dino Paredes of American Recordings had this to say.
“Most long-time Slayer fans may not have these recordings at this point, or their copies are completely beat-up, so to have the complete catalogue in this first-class presentation is terrific. For the newer fans, this is their opportunity to really get into this band the way that they could have if they were born 20 years earlier.”
It is without doubt the essential box set for any Slayer fan, whether you’re a lifelong veteran or a fresh-faced metalhead, this is for anyone who raises the devil horns to Slayer.
The box set is due for release on October 12th. More info can be found by visiting the band’s official website www.slayer.net.
Slayer albums included in the box set:
Reign in Blood (1986)
South of Heaven (1988)

Divine Intervention (1994)
Undisputed Attitude (1998)
