Ou Est Le Swimming Pool frontman commits suicide

According to reports, Charles Haddon, singer with London-based group Ou Est Le Swimming Pool, has taken his own life in Belguim.

The frontman apparently jumped to his death from a mast at the Pukkelpop Festival, shortly after the band's performance at the event on Friday 20th August. The festival organisers have confirmed the incident on their official website http://www.pukkelpop.be/

The organisers have included a tribute to Haddon with the annoucement, which states: "Our thoughts go out to his friends and family."

Pukkelpop was one of several festival dates that Ou Est Le Swimming Pool were due to be playing in Europe this summer. They had previously announced a UK tour, which was set to take place this October.
