Nothing But Thieves Share New Single Baby Kool (Evelyn) From Upcoming Album 'Stray Dogs'

Nothing But Thieves have shared another single from their upcoming fifth album.
Drawing from the Southend-On-Sea rockers' shared influences of Nirvana, Sonic Youth and The Pixies, Baby Kool (Evelyn) serves up a blend of '90s grunge and indie-rock for the latest preview of 'Stray Dogs', due out on September 25 via RCA/Sony Music. The band said:
"This one felt like we wandered back into Dom's garage, where the band started. It's got one foot in glam and the other in grunge. Those two worlds probably shouldn't get along, which is maybe why they did. We often find that's where the interesting stuff is.”
The anthemic track arrives with a video a quirky, '90s-inspired video by Maxim Kelly, starring a mysterious 'pink man' and Evelyn, the stray dog. It'll appear on 'Stray Dogs' alongside the recently shared title track and the band's spring single Evolution.
Nothing But Thieves will support the album with a tour of the same spanning North America, Europe, the UK and Ireland between January and April 2027. They'll also join Biffy Clyro at Edinburgh's Royal Highland Centre on August 21, having recently supported the Scottish band at Finsbury Park in London. Tickets are on sale now.
