Deftones, one of the world's leading nu-metal, rap bands, have confirmed the rumours of a return to the UK with the announcement of an autumn tour set for November.
Fresh from the release of 'Diamond Eyes' earlier this year, Deftones' will be bringing their booming drums, screeching feedback and gut-born screams to UK venues this autumn. Performing new material from their latest album as well as the usual favourites, the band will kick-off their tour in Glasgow on November 12th.
Speaking about the upcoming tour, frontman Chino Morena had this to say. “We’re excited to be returning to the UK and Europe this Fall for our first proper headline run for Diamond Eyes. The new stuff is sounding huge live and has been a blast to perform, as well as the oldies but goodies we plan to sneak in the sets. It's gonna be rad!”
Support on the tour will come from fellow American rockers Coheed and Cambria. Talking to fans about joining Deftones on the road, lead singer Claudio Sanchez revealed. “We are really psyched. I love the new Deftones record and to be able to return to the UK and Europe with them is really exciting, it’s the perfect tour for us.”
This new tour will also mark the tenth anniversary of Deftones album 'White Pony'. To celebrate the band's seminal album, fans can expect a re-release of the album as a double vinyl edition.
More shows could be announced soon, in the meantime Deftones have confirmed the following UK shows:

13th O2 Academy, Leeds

15th Guildhall, Southampton
