The Kooks & Mr Hudson To Perform at Chazzstock Benefit Gig & Tickets

The Kooks and Mr Hudson will headline the CHAZZSTOCK benefit gig on October 4th at KOKO in London.

The event celebrates the life of CHAZZ HADDON, the enigmatic front man of OU EST LE SWIMMING POOL, who sadly took his own life on Friday 20th August 2010 shortly after the bands performance at Belgium's Pukkelpop Festival.

The extremely sad news of Haddon's suicide shocked friends and family and rocked the music industry due to Chazz's outgoing personality and the band's burgeoning popularity.

ImageOU EST LE SWIMMING POOL and friends have rallied around to present CHAZZSTOCK, an evening put on by friends and family to celebrate his life and achievements of it's enigmatic frontman. The line up consists of many of the bands friends who will each cover a track from OU EST LE SWIMMING POOL'S forthcoming album THE GOLDEN YEAR followed by some of their own music. With some serious heavyweights already confirmed on the bill, CHAZZSTOCK is already looking more like a festival than a gig.

One of the band's most vocal supporters EDDY TEMPLE MORRIS (XFM) will be hosting the event. He will be joined on the decks by KISSY SELL OUT (RADIO 1) alongside performances from THE KOOKS, MR HUDSON, MAN LIKE ME, NAT JENKINS, MPHO, TRIBES, DAISY DARES YOU, JAY JAY PISTOLET and many more still to be confirmed. CHAZZSTOCK will be the official send-off the man deserves.

Tickets for Chazzstock will go on sale on Friday September 10th at 9am, priced from £10.

All proceeds will go to MIND the UK's leading charity for Mental Health support who work towards improving the quality of life of people who experience mental or emotional distress. Mind offers a range of services for people with experience of mental distress, their carers and mental health professionals providing information, advice and support.

OU EST LE SWIMMING POOL'S debut album THE GOLDEN YEAR will be released worldwide on October 3rd.
