MGMT To Release New Single 'Congratulations' Next Week

Brooklyn based psychedelic pop group MGMT release 'Congratulations' the title track from their critically-acclaimed sophomore record, released earlier this year.
Set for release on September 27th, 'Congratulations' is the closing track to the album, a slower, gorgeous and warm track that is almost bittersweet with its wry lyrical observations. You can watch video accompanying 'Congratulations' here..
Since the release of ‘Congratulations’, MGMT have been busy touring the US, playing their first proper headline tour. In this time they have been honing their live talents, and now stand ready to bring their incredible show to the UK. They are currently bringing an end to the first stage of their biggest US tour, which has taken in Lollapalooza, with two nights at New York’s historic Radio City.
MGMT's biggest UK tour to date gets underway with a two-night stint at Glasgow's Barrowland on September 20th. The duo will then bring their freaky sound to Birmingham, Bournemouth, Manchester and Leeds before a no doubt stunning finale at their three-night residency at London's O2 Brixton Academy on September 29th, 30th and October 1st.
