US metallers Hatebreed to tour the UK in December

Following their appearance on the Lock Up Stage at this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals, Connecticut metalcore band Hatebreed will return to the UK to play ten dates this December.

These dates mark the second time that the five-piece, who released their self-titled fifth album last year, have toured the UK in 2010. Earlier in the year, the group played a number of large venues in this country while supporting Machine Head.

“We’re beyond excited to return to the UK for a tour in December,” says vocalist Jamey Jasta of the dates. “We wanted to make sure we closed out 2010 with a proper headline set for all of our UK diehards. We'll see you in December.”

Hatebreed were first formed in 1994 and released their debut album ‘Satisfaction is the Death of Desire’ in 1997. However, it wasn’t until the 2002 release of their second album ‘Perseverance’ on Universal Records, that the band started to gain popularity. In 2006, they moved to Roadrunner Records to release their fourth album ‘Supremacy’.

In addition to the recent tour with Machine Head, Hatebreed have previously played with the likes of Slipknot and Slayer.

The dates in December are as follows:

Mon 6th Dec – BRISTOL Fleece
Tue 7th Dec – NOTTINGHAM Rescue Rooms
Wed 8th Dec – GLASGOW Garage
Thu 9th Dec – SHEFFIELD Corporation
Fri 10th Dec – BIRMINGHAM O2 Academy 2
