Linkin Park Announce Huge Fan Summit Event In London

California metal band Linkin Park have announced an original and innovative fan event taking place in London this November. The ‘International Linkin Park Underground Summit’ will take place on November 10th-11th, around their shows at the O2 Arena.
The band made the announcement on their website earlier this week: “We are thrilled to announce our FIRST International Linkin Park Underground Summit event on November 10-11th, 2010 in London, England. This is the biggest, most ambitious fan event in the history of the organization, and we want you to be a part of it.”
The two day event will include various fan activities including meet & greets with the band, backstage tours and a Q&A session with the band. Fans may also get the chance to take part in an ‘LPU Jam Session’, where members of the public are given the opportunity to play with the band’s touring instruments.
At present, a schedule of activities has only been announced for the first day of events. More activities are expected to be announced shortly.
Access to the event (which does not include tickets to the arena concerts) is free to all current members of the LPU fanclub. A limited number of access tickets will also be available to members who join before the shows. For full details visit http://lpu.linkinpark.com/.
