Westlife Announce New Album Title And Release Date

Irish swoon-inducers Westlife have announced the release of their eleventh studio album. The record, which will be titled ‘Gravity’ is due for physical and digital release nationwide on November 15th.

The album title was suggested by a fan on twitter after the boyband looked towards their huge online following for input.

In an online interview, Kian Egan said: “We are going to do something special for that fan but we haven’t decided what yet. It’s hard to believe this is our 11th album but performing is our passion and it would seem like throwing it all away if we stopped."

“Both us and Take That go for epic pop songs but them taking Robbie back hasn’t made us think about Brian McFadden returning. It would feel odd to have a fifth person back on stage with us”, He added.

As well as the studio album, Westlife have announced that they will release their first single from the record, ‘Safe’ on 8th November. In addition to this, the Irish band have revealed that they will release a DVD/Blu-ray of their latest arena tour, due to enter shops on 29th November.

The band posted the news in a statement on their official website: “Westlife are delighted to announce the pre-order of ‘The Where We Are Tour – Live At The O2!’ The DVD and Blu-ray will be released on the 29th November and will not only include the amazing show, but also an exclusive previously unseen documentary of the boys backstage on tour.” The DVD /Blur-ray release is available for pre-order on most online retailers now.
